Hired in the Field of Generative AI
I was recently hired in the field of generative artificial intelligence (AI) teaching philosophy to ai. What made this significant is that I tested out of high school and devoted the better part of 30 years to a family ranch I never inherited. The moral of the story here is to take what you can get in the present and build on that rather than building on something you hope to get in the future. By doing this, you can potentially avoid angst and despair if future plans do not come to fruition. Though I worked at a handful of places, this is the first job that I have taken now at the age of 45 this coming month that I hope will turn into a career. I got the job after having participated in a philosophical hackathon where I won a place on a team of humanities experts. Although we had a week to submit our work, I submitted mine on the morning of the second day. I could have submitted it first, but, then again, I waited instead of taking immediate action. Rather than being rewarded for today’s work tomorrow, accept the reward today. Do not wait to get started.
